Method # 1

To remedy the connection error you are receiving, first ensure that USB Debugging is enabled in the Developer Options menu. To enable this, go to device Settings>About Phone and tap Build Number 7 times until Developer Options is enabled. Within that menu you will be able to enable USB Debugging. If you have done this and are still receiving the connection error, pull down your quick menu and toggle your USB connection between MTP (media transfer protocol) and PTP (picture transfer protocol) while your device is connected to your PC and the KingRoot app is open. Toggling between MTP and PTP should trigger a connection between your device & PC.

Note: also ensure your Android device is connected to the internet by either WiFi or cellular data.

Method # 2

Install a kingoroot software in your PC .

Connect your phone to the pc.(in adb mode)

Adb mode in your phone can be enabled by going to settings- about - tap build number for 5 times then go to the developer options and enable usb debugging.

Then open kingoroot and click root

Method # 3

Flash twrp recovery in phone

Install SuperSU.zip using twrp

Suggestions:

I have used this rooting method and snooped into their implementation.
Me being a Android Developer I would say tho it gives you the root access it has its own service running in background which maybe pushing your data to their servers.

If its just meant to root your device why does it require so many unncessary permission in its manifest.

Here you can have a look from its decompiled sources.

<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.CHANGE_WIFI_STATE"/>
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.ACCESS_WIFI_STATE"/>
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE"/>
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE"/>
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.WAKE_LOCK"/>
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.READ_OWNER_DATA"/>
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.READ_LOGS"/>
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.INTERNET"/>
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.RESTART_PACKAGES"/>
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE"/>
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.CAMERA"/>
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.ACCESS_MTK_MMHW"/>
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.ACCESS_CACHE_FILESYSTEM"/>
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.GET_TASKS"/>
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.ACCESS_MOCK_LOCATION"/>
<uses-feature android:name="android.hardware.wifi"/>
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED"/>
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.WRITE_OWNER_DATA"/>
<uses-permission android:name="com.kingroot.kinguser.permission.activityCalled"/>

As you see it needs internet permission to root the device , but you never know how its been used. The question arises why does it need to read the phone state i.e Contacts, Camera permission i.e Photos indirectly , location access, reading owner Information, read our phone logs etc. All this is sensitive information & I wouldn't compromise my private data to be shared. There is a lot more which I came across but to be crisp its not safe at all!!

Beware guys of such applications in market. They can misuse your data in many ways.
